Faithing Your Mission
“Life Takes Courage, it takes Faith, it takes stepping out into the un known, trusting you will arrive at your destiny.”
-Guru Shakti
You have a purpose, you were born exactly how you were meant to be, and each relationship and experience is perfect for your growth. When you look into your heart, what do you see? What is your purpose in this life time? What is your destiny? Your path is different than mine, different than your parents, different than your best friends, and that is what makes you unique.
Once you discover what that path is, it can be easy to quiver away from it. It’s easy to distract yourself from really full filling your purpose because it’s scary to step out into the un known and try new things. It’s scary to do something different!
Bottom line… It’s ok to be scared, it’s all a part of growing. The fear just means you are growing, and you are paying close attention to what you are doing. Don’t use the fear as a gauge, or a guide. Instead know that the fear has a message to deliver, get the message and continue forward.
Do you think it was all roses when I began home schooling our kids, or when I began healing from Bulimia, or when I began writing this blog, or when my husband quit his 9 to 5 job to begin our business, when I began wearing head wraps and turbans, or when I began practicing Kundalini Yoga every single morning? NO WAY, it was scary at times, it was hard as hell sometimes, but it was also bliss full and wonderful too.
Now years later my path is so much clearer and it’s easier to faith my mission!
When you look around at anyone who has fulfilled their destiny, we see stories of overcoming obstacles and striving for what they believe in. People like Nick Vujicic: a man with no limbs who teaches people how to get up, After being imprisoned for 27 years, Nelson Mandela led South Africa to becoming a multi- racial democracy in 1994, Mother Teressa was a Humanitarian who devoted her life to helping the poor, sick and orphaned in India. She devoted her life to God, Audrey Hepburn was an actress and humanitarian best known for such movies as Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Roman Holiday,Sabrina,Funny Face and My Fair Lady. She devoted a great amount of her life working for UNICEF as a Goodwill Ambassador, and John Lennon was a famous English musician ,singer, songwriter and founding member of the Beatles, one of the most successful bands in history.
Think about the people who inspire you, perhaps you could even put pictures of them up as a constant reminder of why you will be courageous and why you will faith your mission. Remember you were born by no accident, you are a beautiful part of this world, so let your true self shine!
Blessings,
